Lets face it, this has been a hard couple of weeks for myself, and our nation. So I wanted to take this time to bring back some laughter into our saddened souls. I have combed through youtube and have picked out what I believed to be some of the funniest videos on there.

With my head down I must make this very important announcement. A few of you already knew my situation, however now I must allow all to know. In 2006, I like many was a mortgage broker. I know right, people trusted me with a major financial decision. Well they did, and I was very good at what I did. However, I came across an old lady who some douche bag put her in a loan where her monthly payments would increase every month. She was on a fixed income meaning her income stayed the same every month. As her payment kept adjusting she would become more and more late on her mortgage payment, which would decrease her credit score to a point where she was unable to get into a better loan. Me being who I am, had a deep compassion for her. I knew of a loop-hole that would allow me to get her a loan with a fixed payment, and one that she could afford. However, this loop-hole was illegal. I learned about this loop-hole from a previous employer, who in fact w
as my manager. The company I previously worked for had been doing this to many different clients. So, I did not consider this a risk whatsoever. So, long story short, I proceeded, and helped this lady save her home that her dad built. Then, her son came to me and asked for help, then another, and another. So many people were scammed into mortgages that they couldn’t afford because of shady loan officers trying to make as much money as possible. Well, last year, 5 years after I helped this lady, and 4 years after I left the business, the FBI came to my house to arrest me. I have been charged with 20 counts of bank fraud. I assisted them in their investigation and they agreed to drop it to one count. Well, I was sentenced on January 10th to two years in federal prison. I am to turn myself in on Jan. 22nd.
I was an escape goat! The bank sold these loans on the second market for millions. And now, they are trying to collect insurance money, however the only way they can collect it, is by proving that their bankruptcy was of no fault of their own. So the fingers have been pointed to me. And with this conviction, the bank is able to collect their millions in insurance money. And to top it all off, I am ordered to pay 2.9 million dollars to this bank for restitution. I tried to write a check, however, they would not take it.
I know I did wrong. I truly believe this. However, I put my own well being aside to help out others in need. To me, this is human nature. This is what I feel defines our species. We are surrounded by killings, and famine and greed. I wanted to prove that there are still good people out there. I have a compassion for humanity. I have a need to see everyone well. I am that guy that buys homeless people dinner, or raise money for cancer, and sacrifice my own safety to help others. However, there are victims in this situation. One victim was barely alive when these transactions took place, and another victim not even a thought in this world. My daughters have to pay the ultimate price. They will lose their papa for the next two years. For the next 730 days, my kids will lose their dad, and will be forced to celebrate family traditions, their birthdays, and holidays without me. This is the part that saddens me the most. To not be able to hold my kids or wipe their tears away, or to laugh with them for two years is going to crush me. I hope that the years will pass however, every year has the same amount of days, hours and minutes.

I will also be filming my final days leading up to my surrender. I want people to see who I am really about. I’m not what the articles made me out to be. I am just a guy that found a loophole to help out some people who truly needed it.
I am deeply sorry for the situation I have put my family in. What I did may have been “illegal”, however, it was not “immoral”!
